Description
As economies become increasingly interconnected and knowledge-driven, services have emerged as a key driver of growth, productivity, and employment. The APEC Services Competitiveness Roadmap (ASCR) sets out a shared vision to strengthen the services trade environment, enhance regional competitiveness, and promote high-quality growth. This Final Review takes a holistic approach—combining quantitative indicators with qualitative analysis—to assess progress in implementing the ASCR. While APEC has made notable progress, there remains room for further improvement. As APEC charts the path forward to further deepen services competitiveness in the region, economies are encouraged to draw on the insights and recommendations from this review to build on the momentum achieved under the ASCR.
