Fostering a free, open, fair, non-discriminatory, transparent, and
predictable trade and investment environment involves discussions on the WTO,
resilient supply chains and advancing the Free Trade Area of the Asia-Pacific
(FTAAP) agenda, particularly through the Capacity Building Needs Initiative (CBNI).
Strengthening and Enhancing the Structural Reform
The new Strengthened and Enhanced APEC Agenda on Structural Reform
(SEAASR) will be developed following the conclusion and final review of the Enhanced
APEC Agenda for Structural Reform (EAASR).
Promoting People to People Exchanges
Recognizing the value of people-to-people exchanges in strengthening
regional cooperation, a new initiative will be proposed to promote people-to-people
exchanges in science and technology.
